Liverpool's Star Issues Statement to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Salah apologised to the team in the wake of the uproar from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a European match after voicing frustrations and suggesting his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The head coach has chosen not to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the player.
Looking Ahead
He emphasized that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also implied that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are certain ways you can handle situations,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Team Form
The team's performance have been impressive in the matches since the interview fallout. Jones believes the outburst were not designed to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, performing and securing victories.”
