Heavy Rains Aggravate Conditions for Uprooted Gazans, Officials Caution
Persistent precipitation over the recent period have worsened the precarious situation of the hundreds of thousands of uprooted residents in the region, as stated by relief groups.
"Horrendous" Weather Poses Severe Risks
A official described the previous night's conditions as "awful", with rain so severe that up to 15cm (6in) of water was seen on the streets.
"Last night was really difficult for the families. The heavy rains were so powerful... And the winds were so strong," said the spokesperson.
